Dr. Khuram R. Ghumman is an active member of the Connecticut Muslim Community. Born and raised in Sialkot, Pakistan but a Connecticut transplant by choice, Khuram has been involved in leadership & management of several organizations through his professional background as a Medical Doctor. He formerly served as the President of the Connecticut Chapter of the Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America (CTAPPNA) and currently serves on its Board of Trustees.
Professionally, he serves as a Family Physician in a primary care clinic in East Granby, CT where he is a partner. He also serves as an Associate Professor & Director at Quinnipiac University's School of Medicine. He is the current Vice President of the Connecticut State Medical Society (CSMS), President Elect Connecticut Academy of Family Physicians (CAFP) and a past President of the Hartford County Medical Association (HCMA). Dr. Ghumman is a graduate of Nishtar Medical College (Pakistan), the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and Stanford University. |
